Scandinavia's largest hotel

With 23 floors, 814 rooms and 30 conference rooms, the new Bella Sky Comwell hotel in Ørestaden will be the largest hotel in Scandinavia when it opens in May 2011.

The Bella Sky is a spectacular building, that contains a gym, great food, beautiful interior and a whole floor exclusively reserved for women.

The women's floor is called Bella Donna, and has received a lot of international attention. At this point it is not certain wether the hotel will maintain the floor.

600,000 bees on the roof

As part of our sustainable strategy, Bella Sky has made an agreement with the socio-economic organization Bybi working to get more bees to the city as the small animals have a significant impact on the urban ecosystem.

To help this project, 600,000 bees now have moved onto the roof of the house and the first honey from the bees have now been flinged and poured in the glass. It is served on the breakfast buffets in the Sky Bar and you can also buy it as a souvenir from Copenhagen.

Also the bartenders have developed the special cocktail "Bella Be Sour" wich includes honey from the bees, and the hotel chef prepare different menus which includes honey.

Close to the airport
The Bella Sky is just five minutes from Copenhagen's International Airport and the bridge connection to the rest of Scandinavia.
The motorway to the European continent is close by.

In addition, metro and bus services direct to Copenhagen city centre will depart immediately in front of the hotel.
