We don't know have any scientific proof of this as such, but there is something about dining with a view to the sea that seems to help the digestion.

The food just tastes better beside the sea. Maybe it is the irresistibly relaxing effect of the light beautifully reflecting off water, or the movement of the waves, who knows.

If you would care to take part in our very own (un)scientific investigation into this most enjoyable phenomenon, there are plenty of superb sea view restaurants in, as well as outside, Copenhagen that we can recommend.

The many possibilities

How about a seafood platter in the picturesque Christians Harbour or a freshly caught codfish in one of the idyllic fishing villages along the North coast? You can even enjoy a delicious 5 course dinner onboard a ship and have your welcome drinks served on deck as you glide slowly past the many gems of harbour-side architecture.
