'EORNA 2009 Copenhagen' get´s Regional Client Award

Last year Copenhagen was the host city for European Operation Room Nurses Association Congress 2009, with 1800 delegates in the Bella Center. And the other week the host of the congress, was delighted to receive IAPCO's Regional Client Award.

Behind the nomination was IAPCO member Peder Andersen of DIS Congress Services, Denmark was behind the nomniation. At the award show he said:

"We have worked together with the organisation for six years culminating in a highly successful congress, in addition to introducing the EORNA ACE accreditation system - a European model for accreditation of perioperative nursing and care; we are delighted to be able to present the award at such an appropriate event as IMEX."

The award was given in recognition of the Committee's role as hosts of EORNAC 2009, with especial mention of Anette Pedersen, as President of the Congress, for her outstanding leadership.

IAPCO is committed to raising standards of service amongst all sectors of the meetings industry by means of continuing education and interaction with other professionals. As part of this commitment, IAPCO, in 1992, created a programme of Awards to recognise excellence. Nominated by IAPCO members, these Awards are presented annually to the nominated International Client, Regional/National Client and National Supplier, and have long been coveted by those who have been acknowledged for their quality and contribution to the industry by IAPCO.
