More than 3000 delegates from all over the world are coming to Copenhagen, when Microsoft hosts its Convergence conference in October.

Once again Copenhagen will host a big international IT-conference when Microsoft in October launches its Convergence 2007 conference in the city. The conference will be the largest on Danish soil so far. More than 3000 decision makers, IT-managers and IT-companies as well as journalists and analysts from Europe, The Middle East and Africa are coming to the city from October 22nd to 25th.

The conference is about Microsoft Dynamics products for business, industry and the public sector. When Microsoft once again chooses to place a conference in Copenhagen, it's not only because of the advantages of the city as a congress city, but also because Microsoft has placed its largest development centre in Europa in Vedbæk north of Copenhagen. Here, IT developers work with Microsoft Dynamics' business systems, which is the unifying trade name for solutions based on programs from the former Danish company Navision, among others.

Conference guests from foreign countries spend on average 2500 Danish kroner a day. With more than 3000 participants who will stay at a hotel, be transported and entertained for three or more days, it's estimated to give Copenhagen earnings in the order of 25 million Danish kroner.
