If you know where to look, Copenhagen offers plenty of bargains for shoppers.
Factory outlets
At Langelinie Pier, the harbor promenade, you will find several manufacturers' factory outlets selling samples, seconds and other goods. Look for international as well as domestic brands at Diesel, Noa Noa, HH Helly Hansen, Wrangler, Miss Sixty, Kappa, Levis, Lee, Puma, Jackpot Cottonfield and Nike to name but a few.
Note: Show your crew ID for special crew discounts at selected outlets.
Second hand
The Pisserenden neighborhood, just beside Strøget, is an excellent place to look for second-hand records and cool clothes. Ravnsborggade at Nørrebro is a best-kept secret if you are after antiques. For new clothes and everyday items Vesterbrogade or Nørrebrogade are recommended.
Grocery stores
Discount grocery stores, such as Netto, Aldi and Fakta, are found all over the city. They sell all the basic provisions you could want, and lots of delicious Danish specialties besides.
The one nearest to Langelinie Pier is Netto at Amerika Plads 1. The one nearest to the Freeport Terminal is Netto at Nordre Frihavnsgade.
