The Royal Theatre took over B&W's yard on Refshaleøen, and turned into a creative setting factory. Settings for many performances at the 6 stages are sketched, build and decorated here. Prior to 2006 producing the settings took place in many different workshops. The Production House now gather them all under one roof, at Refshaleøen. When a set is complete it will be assembled in the assembly hall. Here various effects are tested, before it is split up and send to either the Old Stage, The Opera House or the Playhouse.A guided tour in the Production House is fascinating and offers a preview of the coming seasons settings in progress. Smaller conferences and grand scale dinner parties/ receptions are also offered.
