These are the results of the Nordic Hotel Business Guest Survey 2011 – an independent annual survey conducted by the London based agency BDRC. The BDRC study started in 2001, and each research since then saw Radisson as the Nordic winner.
“It is a fantastic achievement to lead the Nordic upper upscale business segment since one decade now; this makes us proud and motivated. Compared to 2010, our 2011 results could improve performance. BDRC has conducted online-interviews with more than 1,300 residents from Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland who have been users of a chain or star rated hotel in the last 12 months for business reasons. BDRC’s specially prepared “Brand Rating Index” (BRI) considers key indicators such as prompted and unprompted brand awareness, brand loyalty ratio and recommendation.
The Nordics are Radisson’s home market where the brand debuted in 1960 with the world’s first designer hotel, the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Copenhagen – created by the legendary Arne Jacobsen.. Recent highlights include the Radisson Blu Stockholm Waterfront connected to Scandinavia’s largest congress centre, and the Radisson Blu Resort, Trysil within Norway’s leading alpine resort.
