Denmark follows Central European Time (CET) which is one hour ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) and six hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time (EST).
From the last Sunday in March to the last Sunday in October, the country has Daylight Saving Time, meaning that we turn our clocks one hour forward.
In Denmark, we use the 24-hour clock system. When writing dates, we write the day before the month, for example 12th October 2005 will be written 12.10.2005.
